Mel G. Todd, FSA is the managing principals of BOLI Solutions Group (BSG), a national bank consulting firm dedicated to assisting banks maximize the current and future performance of their life insurance assets. BSG provides expert analysis, creative ideas and highly effective solutions, all directed at improving a bank’s bottom line.
Mel Todd, F.S.A.
With a career spanning over 25 years in the insurance and executive benefit fields, Mel is a recognized expert in the industry. Prior to founding BSG, he served as President and CEO of The Todd Organization (2001-2005) and Clark/Bardes, Inc. (1993-2000) (now Clark Consulting), two of the largest BOLI providers in the country. Before joining Clark/Bardes, Mel served 15 years with a major life insurance company designing and pricing insurance products including some of the earliest generation BOLI products.
Chris Bean
Chris began her career with KPMG as a Certified Public Accountant. She is the former Director of Client Services for The Todd Organization where she worked for 10 years and had oversight for over 700 nonqualified plans. Her combined years in the executive benefit market along with her financial background with KPMG brings a body of knowledge and expertise capable of coordinating and acting as liaison with finance, human resources, legal and the executive group.
N. Jaree Todd, J.D.
Prior to joining BSG, Jaree was a partner in the labor and employment law practice of Worsham Forsythe & Wooldridge, LLP in Dallas, Texas (now Hunton & Williams LLP). Jaree advised and represented management and corporate clients in all aspects of labor and employment law including workforce restructuring and downsizing, executive compensation and benefits, employment contracts, labor union relations and various other employment laws. She has also represented clients before the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

BSG is proud to have partnered with The Pangburn Company (Pangburn), a fee-for-service third party administrator of Bank-Owned Life Insurance and associated benefit plans. Pangburn is the fastest-growing administrator of BOLI plans in the country based on its reputation as a high-quality, low-cost service provider. Pangburn is the largest BOLI service provider in the country measured by the number of its bank clients. BSG works closely with Pangburn to develop plan administration and record-keeping administration to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
